The soft launch for Melanin in YA has been a great success and I want to continue to reach the vision that I have for this website. Please support Melanin in YA on Ko-fi so that Melanin in YA can pay a Black graphic designer to make this database aesthetically pleasing and as easy to navigate as possible. Thank you!
What’s next?
Melanin in YA plans to officially launch December 2020 / January 2021. Until then, feel free to take a look around as more and more is added to the database each week. The next few months are dedicated to making the directories as complete as possible. This means that the blog portion of Melanin in YA will not go live until the launch. For news in Black YA, follow Melanin in YA on Twitter and Instagram. If you have an events graphic that we can share on instagram, please do not hesitate to email melanininya@gmail.com.
If you are going to be a traditionally published 2021 YA debut and you would like to be interviewed for Melanin in YA, please email melanininya@gmail.com between now and one month before your release date.
